1 box german chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) package of caramels
2/3 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup nuts, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels with 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk. Combine cake mix with oleo and the other 1/3 cup evaporated milk and mix with a spoon. Grease and flour 13 X 9 baking pan. Spread cake mixture. Bake at 350º for 6 to 8 minutes. Take out of oven and cover cake with caramel mixture, chips and nuts. Bake for additional 10 to 15 minutes.
