Bread Pudding Recipe

13x9 pan of bread torn into pieces
1 qt. heavy cream
1 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/4 c. cornstarch (in just enough water to dissolve it)

Directions:
Directions:
Tear bread into pieces and put in pan. Mix cream, sugar, and vanilla in saucepan. Heat until boiling. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until thickens, about a minute. Remove from heat and pour over bread. Stir mixture into bread and let sit for 20- 30 minutes for bread to dissolve some of the mixture. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes until lightly brown and bubbly.

I generally use Grands biscuits. It takes 10-12 biscuits depending on how firm you want it. You can also buy a cheap loaf of French bread and use it or any type of bread you prefer.
