1 stick margarine
1 1/2 c. crushed Ritz Crackers

White Sauce
4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. flour
Dash of red pepper
1 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
For Crust: Mix 1 stick of margarine and 1 cup of crushed Ritz Crackers in a buttered casserole dish. Reserve 1/2 c. of crushed Ritz Crackers.

Add 1 jar of Old English Cheese to above White Sauce mixture until cheese is melted. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly.

Drain 3 cans of chopped asparagus. Spread the drained asparagus over the crushed crackers. Add 1/2 c. sliced almonds. Cover with the cheese sauce and remaining cracker crumbs.

Bake 15-20 minutes in 450º oven until bubbly
