2 lb. frozen chunky hash browns
3/4/ c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped green onion
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 pint sour cream
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
2 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350º
2. Mix hash browns, 1/2 c. melted butter, salt and pepper and place in a 9x13 pan
3. mix onion, soup, sour cream and cheese and pour over hash brown mixture
4. Mix corn flakes with 1/4 c. melted butter and spread over hash browns and sauce
5. Bake for 45 minutes uncovered then serve
