4 medium spanish onions
1/4 cup margarine
6 beef boullion cubes or poweder bouillion- beef oxo
6 cups water

french bread slices
grated parmesan or mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Slice onions thinley, saute in very low heat and slowly until a rich brown color.

Add beef oxo and water, stir to dissolve. Add onions. Ladle into heat proof bowls, top with bread and cheese. Bake in over at 450 º until cheese is melted.

Can be made in the crock pot at well. Low for 8 hours.
