2 c all purpose flour
2 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp paprika
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 c buttermilk
8 bone-in chicken pieces
Oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a Ziplock bag, combine flour, thyme, paprika & salt. In a shallow bowl, combine egg, milk & lemon juice.
2. Place chicken pieces in flour mix, seal bag, & shake to coat. Put chicken in egg mix. Put back in flour mix.
3. Dip chicken in buttermilk. Dip in flour mix. Place bone-in side up in pans. Bake uncovered at 425º for 25 mins. Turn& bake 10 more mins.
4. In sauce pan, add remaining buttermilk to soup. Stir & heat through. Serve with chicken.
