2-3T oil
4 large cloves garlic
3 large onions
1 lb sliced mushrooms
2 parsnips (1/3 lb)
4 large carrots (1 lb)
6 lbs beef (short ribs and beef shanks)
marrow bones(5-6)
2-3 stalks celery (6 oz)
3 lbs frozen mixed veggies, or 1 lb with 1 lb peas and 1 lb corn
1 lb fresh green beans
2 bay leaves
1 can tomato soup (condensed)
8 veggie bullion
4 tsp veggie bullion paste
1 package Manischewitz vegetable soup mix
1.5-2 T Kosher salt
pepper to taste
1/2 C dried baby lima beans
1/2 c split peas
1/2 C barley
1/2 C alphabet pasta
6 quarts water



Directions:
Directions:
Saute garlic and then onion in oil. Add mushrooms.
Dissolve bouillon and paste in hot water.
Add remaining ingredients except the dried beans and pasta.
Bring to a boil and add the dried beans and pasta.
Cook over low heat for 3-4 hours.
