8 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 lb. lard
5 egg yolks
1 or 2 lemons (juice and grated rind)
1 1/2 cups sugar
5 tbsp. sour cream
2 cups finely chopped walnuts mixed with 1/3 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, lard, egg yolks, sour cream, lemon juice and rind, and sugar
Knead well and roll into log, cut into 4 sections, then roll out each section on floured surface until 1/8 inch thick, cut with cookie cutters and brush on well beaten egg whites and dip in nut mixture.
Bake at 350 o for 10-12 minutes
