Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Extra strength, dark roasted coffee (add about twice the amount of coffee grounds as usual)

Cold heavy whipping cream

Cold milk (2% or skim, whatever you prefer)

Hershey’s Dark Chocolate syrup

Instant Cappuccino Mix (find it next to the instant coffee in the store)

Directions:
Directions:
Fill cup about half full with milk (might have to adjust to taste). Heat the milk in the microwave, but don’t go longer than about 1 min 30 sec or milk gets funny taste and skin. Put a squeeze of syrup and 2 heaping teaspoons of the instant cappuccino mix and stir. Fill the cup with coffee. For a garnish, put a small amount of heavy whipping cream in another bowl and whip using a hand mixer. After about a minute, the cream gets a little stiff, but still pour-able – it is easiest when the cream is cold. Top the coffee with this – it should float on top. Finally, squeeze a little more chocolate syrup on top for a coffeeshop design! Tastes great even without the whipping cream.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Philosophy: I love going to get coffee at the Vic’s around the corner. However, there’s no way I could afford to do that everyday. So we spent some time experimenting, trying to get that coffee shop taste at home. This was the closest I got before I got a stovetop espresso maker. It is a basic formula that can have lots of variation.
