2 pounds ground beef
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cups celery, chopped
2 cans mushroom stems and pieces, drained (save juice)
1 Tablespoon butter
1 can bean sprouts,drained (save juice)
5 cups cabbage, finely chopped ( I use chinese cabbbage)
1 can consomme
1 can juice from mushrooms and bean sprout
4 Tablespoons soya sauce
salt and pepper
3 Tablespoons sugar

Directions:
In a dutch oven fry ground beef and onion. Add celery, mushrooms,butter, bean sprouts and cabbage. Cook this until cabbage is soft. Add consomme,and the juice saved from the mushroom and bean sprouts and bean sprouts, soya sauce, salt , pepper and sugar. Simmer for 1/2 hour. May be thickened with 3 Tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 1/3 cup cold water. Stir slowly into the mixture in the dutch oven and simmer until the mixture has thickened
