Mom's Krispie Cookies Recipe

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c, butter
1 c. vegetable oil
1 beaten egg
3 tsp. vanilla
1 c, Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut
1 c. quick oatmeal
3 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first four ingredients. Then add next five ingredients and blend. Mix together last four ingredients, blend all together and drop by teaspoons onto cookies sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes. Makes 5 1/2 dozen cookies. These are excellent cookies! The original recipe came from a cookbook I bought on one of travels in Indiana many years ago.
