1-1/4 cup flour
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup softened margarine
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 cup salted mixed nuts
1-1/2 cup halved red cherries
1-1/2 cup halved green cherries
1 cup chocolate chippits, semi sweet

Directions:
Directions:
1) Combine flour, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, cut in margarine until it looks like coarse crumbs.
2) Line 8 X 8 pan with parchment paper and press in the mixture evenly.
3) Bake at 350 degrees F (180 C) for 15 minutes.
4) Beat egg in large bowl and stir in remaining brown sugar, add salt, nuts, cherries, chippits and toss lightly to coat. Spoon mixture evenly over baked layer and bake for 20 minutes at 350 F.
5) Cool and cut into squares
