1 loaf white bread
Boiling water
2 eggs
2 tbsp.Allspice
1 tbsp. salt
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Make dry crumbs of the entire loaf of bread. Mix 1/2 of the crumbs with boiling water until wet. Add eggs, Allspice, salt and butter. Mix well and then add the rest of the bread crumbs. Roll into balls and drop into your chicken noodle soup. (Drop in one ball before making the rest. If it falls apart you need to add another egg.)

Note from Cheryl: I remember these as "Butter Glace" pronounced "booterglase", a German-Russian dish from the old country. They were one of my favorite foods as a kid.
