1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C packed Brown Sugar
1/2 C Butter or Margarine, softened.
1 Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 C Flour
1/2 C Flaked Coconut
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 C Semisweet Chocolate Chips
3/4 C Coarsely Chopped Macadamia Nuts

Directions:

Preheat Oven 375º. In large mixing bowl, combine sugars, butter, egg and vanilla. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add flour, coconut, baking soda and salt. Beat at low spread until soft dough forms. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop dough by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
