1 ½ cups sugar
¼ cup margarine, softened
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla confectioners sugar
3 eggs
2 cups flour
½ tsp. salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 pkgs chocolate non-peril candies

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together sugar, margarine, chocolate and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Combine flour, salt and baking powder in a separate bowl. Add combined dry ingredients to chocolate mixture. Stir well. Chill dough 30 minutes. Form 1” balls with hands covered with confectioners sugar. Roll balls in confectioners sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet (I use parchment paper). Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes. Put a candy on each cookie. Cool completely before storing.
