2 c sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks Parkay oleo
1 cup water
3 tbsp. cocoa powder

Directions:
Directions:
Sift: flour, sugar and salt (set aside). In a saucepan: Melt 2 sticks Parkay butter, 1 cup water and 3 tbsp. cocoa and bring to a boil for 30 seconds. In another bowl: beat eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Add this to the chocolate mixture slowly. Pour chocolate mixture over dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour into a greased and floured cookie sheet (with sides). Bake at 350º for 20 to 25 minutes.

While cake is cooling, make the icing: Melt 1 stick Parkay with 3 tbsp. cocoa powder and 6 tbsp. milk. Bring to boil for 30 seconds. Add: 1 box powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla and beat until smooth. Add: 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans (optional). Pour over cake while still warm.
