2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup lard
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together the flour, salt and baking powder. Cut the lard in with a pastry blender and then add the milk. Stir with a fork until dough comes together. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 8 to 10 times. Roll or pat dough to desired thickness ( will double in thickness when baked ). Cut with a cookie cutter. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes in a 400º F oven.
