Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Round Steak or Cube Steak - enough to feed your family
l large onion, sliced
l green pepper, cut in rings or strips
l can golden mushroom soup
l can cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into serving size pieces and brown in a small amount of oil. At this point, you can transfer meat to roasting pan or a crockpot - layering the browned meat with the onions and peppers. Mix the two cans of soup with two cans of water and pour over meat. If cooking in the oven, cover tightly and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. until extremely tender. If using a crockpot, cook on low for 6-8 hrs. or until meat almost falls apart. If you like tomatoes, you can add a can of diced or stewed tomatoes with the soup. Recipe is really flexible. My son named it "Granny Meat" because it was so tender anyone could eat it!
