Ingredients:
1 1/2 c, softened butter (no substitute)
3/4 c. powdered sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. cornstarch
Assorted candy sprinkles, colored sugars, pecan pieces, or quartered candied cherries for decoration

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter until it's light and fluffy. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until well blended. Dust your hands with extra cornstarch and roll mixture into 1" balls. Dip in sprinkles and place on cookie sheet; press down lightly with fork. Bake at 300 degrees fir approximately 20 minutes or until set. These cookies don't brown much. If topping with a pecan piece or cherry, press with fork first and then top with the pecan or cherry piece. Makes a large batch. Very good cookies - not overly sweet.
