2 c white sugar (or 1 c white and 1 c brown)
1 c butter
2 eggs
1 c sour cream
1 t soda
1 t nutmeg
1 t salt
4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs. Dissolve soda in sour cream; add alternately with remaining dry ingredients.

Roll, cut, bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 for 10-12 min. Can sprinkle sugar on top before baking. Chill dough for easier rolling.
