1 1/2 c. + 1 tbsp. Sugar, sifted well
1 c. + 1 tbsp. Flour, sifted well
1 tsp. Salt
2 c. Egg Whites
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400º.

Set Angel Food Cake Pan in a sink of cold water - shake when ready to use, do not dry.

Mix sugar and flour together and sift 15-17 times. Set bowl aside.

In a large bowl, add salt, egg whites and cream of tartar. Beat on high speed to form peaks. Test by turning bowl upside down after beating.

Fold in (up & down motion) vanilla and flour/sugar mixture, half at a time.

Pour into cake pan and run knife through to cut air pockets. Bake for 30 minutes. Take out of oven and turn upside down. Cool
