½ cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp milk.

1 cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

1 cup uncooked quick rolled oats
¾ cup chocolate chips
1 tsp orange rind.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350˚F. Cream brown sugar, white sugar, and butter. Combine and beat in until smooth: egg, vanilla, and milk. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Stir in oats, chocolate chips, and orange rind. Beat mixture. Drop cookies 2 inches apart on a well greased sheet and bake until light brown.
