2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c.shortening
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift into a large bowl the flour and sugar.

In sauce pan, bring butter, shortening, cocoa and water to a rapid boil, pour into the sugar and flour mixture.
At medium speed, beat buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla. Add to first mixture and mix well. Pour into greased cookie sheet. (The large kind that is only about 1" high on the sides) Bake 20 minutes at 400º oven.

Start icing about 5 minutes before cake is done. 1 stick butter, 4 tbsp cocoa and 6 tbsp sweet milk in a sauce pan and bring into a boil, remove from heat and add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 c. pecans. Beat until thick enough to spread. Spread on cake while still hot.
