Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup chopped pecans or toasted almonds - divided
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 stick of regular salted butter
1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate morsels

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle 3/4 cups of chopped nuts on a buttered sheet of parchment or the bottom of a buttered pizza pan.
Sprinkle the nuts in a circle about 10 inches length, keeping the ut pieces close together.
In a microwave proof glass bowl, add the water, butter and sugar - butter 1 inch on the inside edge of the bowl from the top to prevent boil-over.
Cook on high for 7 minutes (there is no need to stop and stir it, just let it cook.
The mixture in the bowl should be a caramel brown color, if not, cook for another minute.
The mixture will be extremely hot, use caution when removing it from the microwave. Pour the caramel mixture directly over the nuts.
Using a rubber spatula, push the nuts on the sides into the edges of the mixture before it cools.
While the mixture is still warm, sprinkle your chocolate chips over the top of the candy. The mixture will melt the chips after 2-3 minutes. Then spread the chocolate over the top of your toffee using the rubber spatula. Sprinkle the remaining nuts on top.
Cool completely, then break into pieces to serve.
