3/4 cup shortening
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp cinnamon
3 cups rolled oats
Directions:
Directions:
Preeat oven to 350º

In a medium bowl cream together the shortening and sugars.
Stir in the egg, water and vanilla.
Combine the flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon, stir into the creamed mixture.
Stir in the oats

Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto a parchment lined cookie sheets.

Bake for 12-15 minutes .Cool on wire rack.
