3 lbs. yellow summer squash
˝ cup chopped onions
˝ cup cracker meal or bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
˝ teaspoon black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and cut up squash. Boil until tender, drain thoroughly, then mash. Add all ingredients except ˝ of the butter to squash. Melt remaining butter. Pour mixture in baking dish, then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with cracker meal or bread crumbs. Bake in 375 degree oven for approximately one hour, or until brown on top.
