½ cup butter 2/3 cup flour
1 cup sugar ½ cup brown sugar
2 beaten egg yolks 1 tsp. baking powder
1 ½ cups flour 4 tablespoons butter
¼ tsp. salt,
1 tsp. baking powder Glaze:
½ cup milk 1 cup powdered sugar
2 stiff beaten egg whites dab of butter
Hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolks; add flour sifted with baking powder and alternate with milk. Fold in egg whites. Pour into a 9 x 12” pan.

For topping, blend flour, brown sugar, baking powder and butter. Sprinkle over cake. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes.

For glaze, combine powdered sugar, butter and hot water. Drizzle over warm cake. Cut in squares and serve.
