2 cups Flour
1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Baking Soda
¼ tsp Allspice
1 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 cup canned Pumpkin
1 cup chopped Pecans, toasted

Brown Sugar Butter Frosting
6 Tbs butter
1/3 cup packed Brown Sugar
2 cups sifted Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2-3 Tbs Hot Water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375. Toast pecans in oven while preheating.

Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and allspice in medium bowl..

In large mixing bowl, beat butter with mixer on medium, ~ 30 seconds. Beat in sugar. Add egg and beat well. Stir in pumpkin and flour mixture. Stir in pecans.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoon ~2” apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until lightly browned. Transfer to wire rack to cool. When cool, top with frosting.

Frosting: Melt butter and brown sugar in saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add water as need to make smooth.
