1 tbsp. butter
4 (6-7 oz.) moose steaks
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 onion, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse steaks in salted cold water. Pat dry. Mix salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder. Season steaks. Let sit about 20 min. to come to room temp.

On med-high heat add butter to frying pan. Sear steaks on both sides, about 1 min. per side. Reduce heat to med. Add onions. Fry till moose and onions are done. About 3 min. per side depending on thickness. Remove from pan. Let rest 5 min. Serve.

Note: Turn pan drippings into gravy if desired.
