4 1/2 tsp. Active Dry Yeast (or 2 packets)
3 TBsp White Sugar (or Splenda)
2 1/2 Cups Warm Water
3 TBsp Butter or Margarine, softened
1 TBsp. Salt
6 1/2 Cups Flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. In bowl, dissolve yeast in water with sugar until foamy.

2. Stir in butter, salt and 2 cups flour. Stir in remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time. When dough pulls together, turn it out onto lightly floured surface and knead for 6 to 8 minutes.

3. Lightly oil a clean bowl, place dough in and turn it to coat all sides. Cover and let rise till doubled in size, about 1 hour.

4. Preheat oven to 375º

5. Deflate dough, turn out onto floured surface, divide in half and form loaves.

6. Place in greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise till doubled, about 40 minutes.

7. Brush tops with melted butter or spray with butter flavored cooking spray. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.

Tip for rising: While making dough, preheat oven to 200 degrees. When it reaches temp, turn oven OFF. Place bowl of dough in oven to rise.
