8 slices bacon
4 med. onions, chopped
1 can (1 lb.) green beans or butter beans
1 can (1 lb. 14 oz.) pork and beans
1 can (1 lb.) kidney beans
3/4 c.dark brown sugar ( or less)
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Pepper to taste

Fry bacon crisp, reserve drippings. Drain and crumble bacon. Sauté onion in bacon drippings until transparent. Thoroughly drain onions. Drain green beans or Lima beans. Combine green beans (Limas), pork and beans with liquid, kidney beans with liquid, onion and bacon. Combine brown sugar, vinegar, garlic salt, mustard and pepper. Add to bean mixture. Mix well. Bake uncovered in 3 qt. casserole ( or two smaller casseroles) in 350º oven for 1 hour.
