Brown 5 oz Lean Beef (Sirloin) - place in pot
wash 1/4 cup of Barley in hot water - place in pot
add one 5 oz can Tomato Paste - rinse can with 1 can water - place in pot
add 1 heaping tablespoon Beef Boullion - Roland recommends "Better than Beef Boullion" (available at Costco)
add 1 teaspoon Soya Sauce
add 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
add 2 drops Tabasco Sauce
add 1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
add 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
add 1/4 teaspoon Cilantro

Add 4 cups water bring to boil - then simmer for 2 hours with cover slightly vented. Then turn to lowest heat for another hour. Add another cup of water.
Serve with sour dough bread & butter.
