2 c. whole milk
1 c. heavy cream
2 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. sugar
16 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. peppermint oil

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the milk, cream, vanilla, and sugar in a saucepan over medium-heat. When the mixture is hot, add the chocolate and stir constantly until the hot chocolate is completely melted.

Continue stirring while adding the salt and peppermint oil. When the mixture reaches a simmer, remove it from the heat and serve immediately.
