1/2 lb (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups Quaker oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 cup raisins
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven the 350º. Beat margarine and sugars together until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla to mixture, beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, raisins, chocolate chips, and nuts; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 mins or until golden brown. Cool 1 min on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Makes about 4 doz.
