3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp corn starch
1 tsp salt
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1 can creamed corn
1-1/2 tsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs. Dissolve cornstarch with a little bit of the milk and add to the eggs along with the remaining milk, sugar and salt. Mix together, then add corn. Pour into a greased 11 x 7 baking dish. Dot the top with bits of butter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Stir (especially around the sides of the pan) after the first 15 minutes of baking to ensure even baking and to incorporate the melting butter.

This makes a "custardy" corn pudding versus some recipes that call for flour or cornmeal. It was a fixture at every holiday meal.
