Sliced Potatoes
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Pats of margarine
Sliced onions
American cheese

Preheat oven to 350.
In a greased casserole dish, layer sliced potatoes, salt, pepper, parsley and 2-3 pats of margarine. Add layer of sliced onions.
Top with another layer of potatoes, salt, pepper, parsley and margarine.
Add milk to about 1/4 inch depth.
Cover with lid or foil and bake 1 hour.
Add slices of cheese on top and stick back in oven to melt the cheese over potatoes.
