3 c flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 c sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp ground mace
1 c soft margarine
¾ c currants
2 eggs, well beaten
6 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients and cut in margarine. Add currants and eggs mixed with milk, forming a soft dough.
Roll dough on floured board to ½ inch thick. Cut into rounds. Cook in non-stick fry pan. Turn over when browned. Cook until both sides browned.
