Dough:
1 1/2 C warm water
1/2 C oil
2 egg yolks
1 tsp salt
1/2 C sugar
2 tsp baking soda
4-5 C flour

Rice filling:
1 lb whet rice
1 qt milk
1 C sugar
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Dough: Mix water, oil, yolks, salt and sugar together. Add flour and baking soda. Add as much flour as the mixture will absorb.


Filling: Cook rice until tender in unsalted water. Rinse in cold water. Mix in milk and cook until thick. Add 1 C sugar and salt to taste. Cool before using.

Stretch out dough. Put a small amt of oil on top and then add rice mixture.

Looking on line, knead dough for 1 a few minutes, lest rest in greased bowl for 1 hour. Roll and fill jellyroll style and cut into 2 inch pieces then shape and bake. Brush with egg wash before baking at 325 or 350 for 12-15 minutes, longer if frozen first.
