48 Hershey Kisses.
1/2 cup shortening.
3/4 cup Reese's peanut butter.
1/3 cup sugar.
1/3 cup light brown sugar.
1 egg.
2 tbsp. milk.
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour.
1/2 tsp. salt.
Additional sugar.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º. Remove wrappers from chocolates.
2. Beat shortening and peanut butter in a large bowl until blended.
3. Add sugar and brown sugar, beat until fluffy.
4. Add egg, milk and vanilla extract, beat well.
5. In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking soda and salt.
6. Slowly beat flour mixture into peanut butter mixture until blended.
7. Shape dough into 1 in. balls. Roll in additional sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake 8-10 min. or until lightly brown. Immediately press a Hershey kiss into each cookie. Cookie will crack around the edges. Remove from cookie sheet and cool.
