2/3 c shortening (part butter)
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º
Mix shortening, sugars, egg, and vanilla. Stir dry ingredients together and blend in. Mix in nuts and chocolate chips
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough on cookie sheet
Bake 8-10 minutes
