1 1/2 c. milk
5 T. cornstarch

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cornstarch and milk in a saucepan. Heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Once boiling, continue stirring until thickened. Once thickened, remove from heat and keep stirring until cool. (Sit down and watch TV because it takes 10 to 15 minutes).

Once thickened milk is cool, combine sugar, butter and Crisco and beat for about 10 minutes until creamy. Once mixture is creamy, combine both mixtures together and beat until combined.
