Dough:
1/2 lb (2 sticks) unsalted butter slightly softened
1/2 lb cottage cheese
2 C flour
1 tsp salt

Filling:
1 lb chopped mushrooms
1 onion chopped
3-4T unsalted butter
salt and pepper to taste

caraway and/or sesame seeds
onion salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dough: place flour in bowl, add salt and cut in softened butter (or use food processor). stir in cottage cheese and press together into a solid ball. Divide into 4 balls. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight (at least 2 hours).

Filling: saute mushrooms and onions in butter until softened, season.

Roll balls of dough into 10-12 inch rounds. Cut into 16 wedges. Drop about 1tsp mixture onto wide end of each wedge. Roll starting at wide end. Dip top in caraway or sesame seeds and sprinkle with onion salt.
Freeze.

Bake at 350º 25-30 minutes. Less time if unfrozen.
