Cake

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 no. 2 can crushed pineapple undrained
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt.
1 stick butter

Nut Topping

1/2 c. chopped nuts and 1/2 c. brown sugar

Icing

1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 stick butter, 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Boil 1 minute and pour on cake

Directions:

Mix flour, sugar, undrained pineapple, eggs, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.

Slice the butter into 1/4" pats and place on top of cake batter.

Mix together the nuts and brown sugar and sprinkle on top of butter.

Bake 35-40 minutes at 350º. Let cool 10 minutes then pour the icing over the cake.
