1 small turnip
5-6 carrots
1/2 cup cubed Velveeta cheese (dice-size cubes)
2 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Peel turnip and carrots. Cut into 1 inch chunks. Boil until tender. The carrots cook a lot faster than the turnip so cook separately. Drain and combine in one pot or large bowl. Mash together using a potato masher or electric mixer. Mix in
brown sugar then gently fold in cubed cheese. If desired, top with buttered bread crumbs or cracker crumbs. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
