Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 Pound (2 Sticks) unsalted butter at room temperature
1 Cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
1/2 Cup granulated sugar
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 Extra-large eggs, room temperature
2 Cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Kosher salt
1-1/2 Cups chopped walnuts
1-1/4 Pounds semisweet chocolate chunks, such as Nestles

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour an 8-1/2 x 12 x 2 inch baking pan. If you can't find a pan this size (I don't have one) you can use a 9 x 13 and adjust the baking time to a little less. (The blondies will be thinner).

Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar on high speed for 3 minutes, until light and fluffy., Add the vanilla and the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. With mixer on low, slowly add the flour mixture. Fold in the walnuts and chocolate chunks with a rubber spatula.

Spread the batter into the pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30 minutes. Do NOT overbake! Cool completely in the pan and cut into bars.
