5 tbsp. flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and milk in a pan over medium heat until formed into a paste. Cool well in the refrigerator.

In a bowl cream butter and shortening. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar. Beat well, it may take 5 minutes or more to make it creamy.

Add vanilla to the cooled paste. Slowly add paste to butter mixture. Beat for about 10 minutes on high.

This is the same frosting Aunt Helen uses to make her frosting filled chocolate cupcakes.
Make cupcakes from regular cake mix. Use recipe on box. Cut a hole in the middle of the cupcakes and fill with frosting.
