2 Cups Flour
½ Teaspoon Salt
½ Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
½ Cup Shortening
1 Cup Apple Sauce
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Egg
1 Package Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Chopped Nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening & sugar. In a small bowl measure applesauce, spice and soda. Mix and let stand a few minutes and add beaten egg to applesauce mix. Alternate adding applesauce mix and shortening mix into dry ingredients. Then add chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
