Ingredients: Step 1 - Patties: 2 lb Ground Beef or Turkey 1 med Onion, chopped fine 2 tsp Italian Seasonings 2 tsp Garlic Powder 8 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 1 TBsp Yellow Mustard 2 TBsp Ketchup 2 Eggs 1 Cup Bread Crumbs Salt & Pepper to taste
Step 2 - Gravy: 1 Cup Mushrooms, sliced or chopped 1 Cup Beef Broth 1/2 Cup Red Wine 2 TBsp Worchester Sauce 1 TBsp Garlic Powder 1 med Onion, chopped
1 to 2 TBsp Corn Starch, mixed with water to thicken gravy (slury)

Directions:Step 1 - Patties: 1. Mix Meat with all ingredients, EXCEPT Mozzarella Cheese
2. Make into long patties, a little smaller than your hand
3. Press about 1 TBsp Mozzarella Cheese into center of each, form meat around cheese so that cheese is inside of patty.
4. Heat 2 TBsp Olive Oil in skillet on med-high heat. Brown patties for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side, flip only once.
5. Remove patties, cover to keep warm.
Step 2 - Gravy: 1. In same skillet, add 1 TBsp Olive Oil and cook Mushrooms, Onions & Garlic till tender
2. Deglaze with Wine, add Broth & Worchester Sauce. Bring to a boil
3. Return Patties to pan, simmer for 15 minutes.
4. Remove Patties to service plate and thicken gravy with cornstarch slurry. Pour gravy over Patties & serve |

Notes: Serving amount is according to sizes of patties and how many are made. Don't make the Patties too thick, or they won't cook all the way through.
Can use mix of ground Beef & loose Sausage. If use this, add 2 tsp Fennel Seed to seasonings.
