2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
3 tbs cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup crisco
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
FROSTING
1 TBS COCOA
1 STICK BUTTER
1 BOX POWDERED SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA
1 CUP NUTS, PECANS
Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan, bring butter,cocoa,water and crisco to a boil
Pour over sugar and flour mixture
Add milk,eggs,vanilla and baking soda, mix well
Pour into jelly roll pan
Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes
FROSTING
Bring cocoa, butter and water to a boil
Pour over powdered sugar
Add more water if necessary
Add vanilla and nuts
Pour over hot cake
