1 (3lb) whole chicken
4 carrots, sliced
4 stalks celery, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
6 Tbsp chicken bouillon granules - or 4 cups chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste
Dry Noodles - egg, vermicelli - your choice
2 cups of veggie flakes
12 cups water - or more if required

PUT the chicken in a large soup pot & cover with cold water. Heat and simmer, uncovered, until the chicken is cooked - it should easily pull away from the bones

STRAIN the broth. Once chicken is cool enough to touch, pick the meat off of the bones

CUT up carrots, celery and onion and put in the broth, simmer, until the veggies are tender

ADD the dry noodles - or noodles of choice as they will cook in the broth & the veggie flakes

ADJUST seasonings and serve
